Gran Hermano 17 es la decimoséptima temporada de Gran Hermano, la versión española de la franquicia de realities televisivos Gran Hermano. La temporada 17 comenzó a emitirse el 8 de septiembre de 2016 en Telecinco. El miércoles 29 de junio, Mediaset anunció en un comunicado oficial que Mercedes Mila dejaba el programa después de 16 años, y era sustituida por Jorge Javier Vázquez.

Los 3 primeros concursantes desalojados convivirían en el apartamento con otros 3 primeros desalojados de ediciones anteriores; eran Maite Galdeano (GH 16), Amor Romeira (GH 9) y María José Galera (GH 1). Tenían la misión de ser asesoradas para mejorar su paso por el concurso. El público votante decidiría los mejores excompañeros para volver oficialmente a la casa de Gran Hermano como compañeros oficiales.
